A delightful blend of aromatic spices, black tea, and apple cider. Infused with cinnamon, cloves, and peppercorns, this brew captures the essence of fall.

Ingredients

  • 3-inch cinnamon stick

  • 3 whole cloves

  • 1/2 tsp. black peppercorns

  • 2 black tea bags

  • 2 c. apple cider

  • 2 long cinnamon sticks for garnish, optional

Directions

  • Place the cinnamon stick, cloves, and peppercorns in a medium saucepan. Add 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Off the heat, add the teabags and steep, covered, for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags.
  • Add the cider to the spiced tea and warm over medium heat until the Spiced Cider Tea is steaming hot.
  • Divide between two mugs and serve, garnished with a long cinnamon stick if desired.
