Mining for Minerals Geology Hike!

Join us as we take a hike through the forest to focus on the unique GEOLOGY of the area.
Join our Weis educators on a hike to discover why earth rocks! We will learn how to identify rocks and minerals and see how geology shapes the natural world and our daily lives.
- Ages 8 and up; under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult
- Portions of the hike contain steep and challenging terrain
- Drive in through the outer gate and park near the main brick building
- Non-refundable
- In case of inclement weather, the program will be rescheduled and you may choose the new date or a refund
