Happy Birthday Mickey Mouse @ Sussex-Wantage

Mickey Mouse is 95 today! Join us in celebrating Mickey’s birthday with a screening of Fantasia 2000.

An extrapolation of Disney’s 1940 blend of classical music and animation includes “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” from the original and seven new segments accompanied by James Levine and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Hosts for the separate pieces include Steve Martin, Angela Lansbury and Quincy Jones.

Please bring a comfortable towel or blanket to sit on and your favorite beverage; snacks will be provided.

All ages are welcome but children 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please register children-only beginning November 4. If registration is closed please call the library to inquire about the waitlist.

Fantasia 2000 is rated G and has a run time of 75 minutes.
