At Camp PGT, young actors and designers jump into the performing arts in a safe and fun environment in PGT’s 20,000 square foot, air-conditioned performing arts complex in downtown White Plains, with both indoor and outdoor rehearsals and classes, The Play Group Theatre brings their award winning arts education program together with the non-stop fun of summer day camp.

Choose from a wide range of 1 and 2 week programs – or combine programs for a 3 or 4 week summer theatre experience. Programs include Improv, Sketch Comedy, Playwriting, Design/Tech, Filmmaking, and two sessions of their popular Teen Conservatory (14+), Young Actors’ Ensemble (11-13), PGT Kids (7-10), and Little Theatre (4-6). Campers explore acting, musical theatre, dance and movement, Shakespeare, Stage Combat and more in Camp PGT’s ever changing daily classes. Campers also dive into rehearsal with their cast for half of each day as they work towards a culminating performance. Workshops and weekly special events round out the action -packed PGT summer experience.

The Play Group Theatre’s professional staff is dedicated to providing an artistic haven for children and teens of all ages and levels of experience. The Play Group Theatre’s vibrant and spacious theatre complex includes two theatres, a dance studio, a design studio, scene shop, costume shop, and multiple large rehearsal spaces. Spots are limited!
