Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery & Aquarium is a nonprofit center that educates visitors about New York’s freshwater ecosystems. Throughout two buildings and eight outdoor ponds, it offers the largest living collection of New York State freshwater reptiles, fish and amphibians. The aquarium also offers one-and-a-half-hour birthday parties with live animal presentations, fish feedings, outdoor picnic tables or indoor ones, goodie bags, cake lighting and cutting supplies and cleanup. As many as 12 children ages 3 and older along with six adults are invited to celebrate at the Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery & Aquarium. Parties are held Monday through Friday in the afternoon and select weekends. Space is also available for after-hours event rental. Call for additional details about birthday bashes or events.
