On April 24, @summerschoolradio’s deep listening series returns to Weeksville Heritage Center for its fourth installment. The evening begins at 6 pm with a grounding sound bath by Kia Islam, followed by an intimate live set from Lovie with sound amplified by Karlala Soundsystem. Expect a space for listening, reflection, and collective presence.

[IF…] Iterative Fictions
Join us on Friday, April 25 from 6–9 PM for (Iterative Fictions), a multimedia performance by artist Eto Otitigbe. Using materials from the Weeksville archives, the project reimagines the Black Archive through sculpture, sound, and projection.
Featuring an original soundscape by Zane Rodulfo and visual projections by Dakota Ray, explores the cultural memory of Central Brooklyn and the possibilities of Black futures.
