Year of the Snake Crafts! (Kids of All Ages) 🐍

Lunar New Year — celebrated throughout Asia and by people of Asian descent all around the world! — begins this year on January 29th. 2025 is the Year of the Snake! According to the Chinese zodiac, people born during the Year of the Snake are mysterious, smart, determined, and caring.

In this kit, you will receive:

• Year of the Snake fuzzy magnet craft
• Bead snake craft
• Paper plate snake craft (hissss!)
• Information about Lunar New Year and the Year of the Snake
• Coloring pages, activity sheets, and more!

Crafts can be picked up on THURSDAY, January 23rd from 2 PM to 6 PM. Curbside is available.

If you need to pick up at a different time, PLEASE notify us BEFORE the pickup date so we may make arrangements with you. Unclaimed kits will NOT be held without prior arrangements.

2025 CRAFT POLICY:

Unclaimed crafts MAY be made available to the public after the pickup date. When this happens, those unclaimed crafts will be released on Friday mornings at 9:30 am when the library opens. The library reserves the right to limit the availability of unclaimed crafts.
