Winter Tree Identification Walk
January 17 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Winter Tree Identification Walk
Join conservation steward, Devyani Mishra, for a leisurely stroll through the Preserve to learn about trees and how to identify them, particularly in the winter when your biggest clues (leaves) are not present.
The hike will be short with frequent stops for discussion. Leashed dogs are welcome.
Meet in the Visitor’s Center courtyard.
Please bring water to drink, dress warmly in layers, and wear comfortable shoes.
In case of bad weather, the walk will be canceled; you will be notified via email by 5 pm the day prior.
Parking: $6 per vehicle. NYS Residents over 62 park for free on weekdays.
Max: 15 people
