Uncork History: Victorian Fashion and its Royal Influences

July 31 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The Museum and Gardens at Liberty Hall present Uncork History Lecture Series!

Enjoy our summer series in the garden and join us for Uncork History: Victorian Fashion and its Royal Influences. Come and explore the iconic style of Queen Victoria, who influenced fashion during her 63-year reign. From her ascension to the throne in 1837 to the early 20th century, Queen Victoria’s fashion trends reflected personal taste and societal changes. Learn how quickly fashion changed from the embellishments on dresses to the use of crinolines, and even the cultural norms of the time. Discover these influences as we feature some of the dresses in our collection from the Victorian era for this special Uncork History. Afterward relax in our historic gardens with wine and finger foods, as the sun sets. It’s perfect for a date night or a night out with friends!

Light refreshments served. Must be 21 years or older to attend.

Reservations Required.
