Learn about Ticks at the Preserve!

Once temperatures creep above 40 degrees Fahrenheit, ticks go questing in search of a bloodmeal! Come learn all about ticks from Park Educator Martha, who has a backround in tick disease ecology research. The program will cover the life cycle of New York’s ticks, their role in our local ecology, and best practicies for reducing your risk of tickborne illness. After the program, you will feel tick-informed and confident to enjoy the outdoors safely.
