The Marvels of the Honey Bee @ Main Library

Join beekeeper Tom Makoujy for a buzzworthy hour filled with the little known but fascinating aspects of the lives of honey bees. Learn what makes these creatures so unique and important to our world.

Registration begins June 15. Summer reading participants will also earn an extra raffle entry for attending.

Tom Makoujy is a member and past president of The Sussex County Beekeepers Association. A resident of Sparta, Tom has been keeping bees for approximately 15 years, and is a presenter at the club’s annual Beginning Beekeeping course. Tom has a Bachelors degree in Biology, and is an avid student of all things Honey Bee.
