Join us in celebrating Women’s History Month! Youth ages 9 – 15 will explore concepts in history, personal development, and literacy during this Little Women themed experience.

In this interactive, art-based program, participants will learn about life as a child during the American Civil War, what members of the Coe Family experienced living during this time, and compare how life is different and similar today! As they explore the character traits of the March Sisters through film clips and text excerpts, experience-goers will decide what traits they would like to reflect in their own lives and embark on a hands-on art project creating and binding their very own vintage-style books and fill the pages with strong character traits they have and would like to develop.

All participants will go home with their very own books, a Little Women souvenir, and a printed excerpt for continued learning at home.

This is a drop-off program. Guardians are encouraged to stay on-site during the duration of the program and explore the beautiful grounds!

If your child requires accommodations, if you have any questions or are interested in group rates, please contact erenwick@plantingfields.org

This is a non-refundable program. 48 Hour Cancellation Policy: Should you need to cancel; you will be credited the amount towards a future education workshop.
