The Final Countdown: Solar Eclipse FAQ & Crafts!

On April 8th, the moon’s shadow will obscure 90% of the sun in our area, with the path of totality crossing over northern New York and several other states.

In preparation for this rare and exciting event, educator Kim Fendrich will answer some commonly asked questions as we craft models of the celestial movements that cause this phenomenon.

We’ll also create pinhole viewers for safe enjoyment of the eclipse in this fun family-friendly program.

Appropriate for all ages. Max: 20 people.

The program will take place in the art gallery at the Visitor’s Center.

Parking: $6 per vehicle.
