The ABC’s of Wildlife Tracking at Sandy Hook

This program will cover the basics of identifying wildlife tracks (deer, raccoons, fox, crabs, birds, etc.) and how to understand wildlife behavior. It will involve audience participation and ACE techniques to help visitors learn about the wildlife of Sandy Hook. The walk will go towards Sandy Hook point, and we will look for identifiable wildlife sign (tracks, scat, rubs, bones, etc)! Meet at Parking Lot M of Sandy Hook, New Jersey. Free! – Bring bug spray, good hiking shoes, clothes for evening weather, and be prepared to walk approximately 1.5 miles on sand!
