Summer Sun on Buttermilk Hill

The road less-traveled, Buttermilk Hill is one of the scenic areas of the Preserve that often gets overlooked. Explore both Buttermilk Hill and Ferguson Lake on this 4-mile hike with Guardian Patricia.

The hike will move at a moderate pace and will include some hills. Leashed dogs are welcome.

Meet in the Historic Hudson Valley parking lot at 639 Bedford Rd, Tarrytown, NY 10591.

Please wear sun protection, bring water to drink, and wear comfortable closed-toed shoes.

Long pants tucked into your socks are recommended to prevent exposure to ticks and poison ivy.

In the event of rain, the hike may be canceled or postponed; you will be notified by 5 pm the day prior.
