Studio Concert: Give My Regards To Westchester

$23An intimate evening of Puccini opera, Broadway show tunes and Jazz favorites performed by Lauryn Ciardullo & Annbritt duChateau. Also featuring an art exhibit by Bedford artist Joseph Ciardullo.
Annbritt duChateau is a Chicago native and holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Music from DePaul University in piano performance with Mary Sauer, pianist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. She was completing a Doctorate at Northwestern University in Piano Performance and Pedagogy when life took a right turn and she ended up conducting Broadway shows! Annbritt conducted 3 national tours (Aspects of Love, Phantom of the Opera and Miss Saigon) before coming to NYC where she worked closely with Maestro Paul Gemignani and Mr. Sondheim for the next 10 years. Some highlights were being the Associate Music Director for Kristina at Carnegie Hall & Royal Albert Hall and playing piano for Sondheim’s Company with the New York Philharmonic. Ten Broadway shows to date and most recently the associate conductor of Some Like It Hot. Currently Associate Music Supervisor for Aladdin and Frozen, helping mount international companies. Can be heard on OBC recordings of Frozen, Aladdin, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Into the Woods with Vanessa Williams, The Frogs with Nathan Lane, Kristina (Carnegie Hall recording), and Company (New York Philharmonic).
Lauryn Ciardullo grew up in Bedford, NY and is thrilled to be back in Westchester teaching and guiding young performers at the Tarrytown Music Hall Academy. As an original cast member of Disney’s hit Broadway show Aladdin, Lauryn performed as Princess Jasmine and other roles in the award-winning production for 7 years. She has performed on the 2014 Tony Awards, The View, Good Morning America, Tamron Hall and the Disney Singalong on ABC. Before making her Broadway debut in Aladdin, Lauryn toured the United States with notable Broadway productions including West Side Story, A Chorus Line, The Addams Family, The Wizard of Oz, The Wedding Singer and The Little Mermaid. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Purchase College and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Purdue University.
