Storytime At The Sussex County Sunflower Maze

Meet Miss Alana at the Sussex County Sunflower Maze for fun in the flowers! Listen to a sunflower story and make a craft, and then enjoy some time wandering around the maze with your family. Please be sure to wear sunblock and bug spray. As it is a working farm, the ground is not level so beware as you walk.

Also, bees are just as welcome at the maze as people. Bees have environmental importance as pollinators. The movement of pollen between plants is necessary for plants to fertilize and reproduce. Both farmed and wild bees control the growth and quality of vegetation — when they thrive, so do crops. Be mindful of them because they’re doing very important work.
