Stargazing in the Preserve
May 5 @ 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Stargazing in the Preserve
Peer into the cosmos with Vinny Coulehan of the Rockland Astronomy Club.
We’ll use a telescope to observe galaxies, globular clusters, double star systems, and more! With the new moon on May 7, we should have relatively dark skies.
Meet in the Visitor’s Center courtyard.
Bring water and a flashlight or headlamp with a red setting. Dress warmly and bring a lightweight folding chair if you are uncomfortable standing for 1.5 hours.
In case of bad weather, the event may be canceled or postponed; you will be notified at least 2 hours in advance.
Max: 20 people
