Seventh Annual Bridgewater Beerfest

The Sixth Annual Bridgewater Beerfest will take place on Saturday, May 20 from 4 – 8 PM, outdoors at the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center (JCC) in Bridgewater. The community is invited to attend the Beerfest event that benefits The JCC Sustainability Fund and JCC Special Needs programs for children and adults. The JCC is located at 775 Talamini Road in Bridgewater, NJ.

The Beerfest will feature tastings of more than 40 beers. Featured breweries include (list in progress): Ashton Brewing Co., Belford Brewing Co., Burnt Mills Cider, Brix City Brewery, Chimney Rustic Ales, Dr. Brewlittle’s Beer Co., Heavy Reel Brewing Co., High Rail Brewing Co., Icarus Brewing, Jersey Cyclone Brewing Cp., Other Half Brewing, Oyster Creek Brewing Co., Ross Brewing Co., Seven Tribesmen Brewery, Toms River Brewing, Twin Elephant Brewing Co., and Untied Brewing Co.  The event will also include bourbon and tequila tastings.

The band, Dread Pilot Roberts, will perform, and food will be available for purchase from Food Trucks. The admission fee for the Beerfest is $60/person and includes a beer sampling glass. Use discount code “Beer” to save $20 on General Admission fee when registering on Eventbrite. Designated Driver Admission is $15/person and must be purchased with a General Admission ticket. There will be a Beer Pong Tournament for $5/person. Must be 21 or older to attend. Register online at ssbjcc.org/bridgewater-beerfest.

Special needs programs offered by the JCC include The J-Zone Respite Program for children ages 5-16; J-Cares Adult Intern Program; The J-Connect Social Program for Adults; Camp Chaverim for ages 15+; Special Needs Swim Lessons, and the Rising Tide Special Olympics Swim Team. The JCC Blaustein Early Childhood Center, JCC Camp Ruach and J-Crew After School Program work with families with children with special needs.
