Sedimento

Witness Carlos Martiel’s new performance, Sedimento, conceived to complement his solo exhibition Cuerpo, now on view in El Museo del Barrio’s Room 110. This most recent work, presented with the participation of the artist’s parents, will continue his ongoing exploration of the impact of intergenerational colonial traumas through an act of extreme corporeal endurance.

Advance registration is strongly encouraged, as capacity will be limited and only standing room will be available. Attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note, the performance will feature nudity and sensitive imagery that may be difficult for some viewers; discretion is advised.
