Sandy Hook Seals at Sunset

Sandy Hook, seals, and a sunset – what a way to end your Sunday! Join us for this captivating program where visitors will get the opportunity to learn about these fascinating marine mammals, their behaviors, and their significance to the local ecosystem in a unique setting. Visitors will start out in the Fort Hancock Museum with a ranger-led talk on the seals. The attendees will then venture outdoors to the Sandy Hook bayside for the chance to witness the seals at sunset. If the conditions align – this will be an unforgettable experience of learning and exploration in the stunning setting of Sandy Hook. Includes a quarter mile walk from the Museum to the seals.
