Explore Sandy Hook’s Revolutionary history, from lighthouse raids to the Monmouth retreat, and end with a ranger guided lighthouse climb.
Learn about patriot raids on the Sandy Hook Lighthouse, the embarkation of the British Army from Sandy Hook after the Battle of Monmouth, and other interesting stories involving Sandy Hook during the American Revolution. After the presentation, join a park ranger to climb to the top of the 262-year-old lighthouse.
👶Participants must be 48 inches tall to climb.
