Restoring Battery Gunnison/New Battery Peck – Open House

One of Sandy Hook’s most historic structures will be open to the public!
Explore one of Sandy Hook’s most famous military sites!
Visitors can enter the interior of the Battery and learn how it was restored to the World War II era, with members of Army Ground Forces Association (AGFA). Formal tours are not being offered as restoration work is being performed, but visitors are welcome to stop by. AGFA is a volunteer group performing restoration projects and interpreting the Battery in WWII-era uniform.
