National Public Lands Day Beach Cleanup event @ Great Kills Park

Join volunteers from around the city in cleaning up Great Kills Beach in Gateway National Recreation Area after a busy summer of use.
Gateway National Recreation Area is proud to be hosting this beach cleanup with our partners at the National Environmental Education Foundation and the NRPA. Refreshments and all materials needed for the cleanup will be provided. There will be education offerings for the whole family including beach scavenger hunts, history tours of the area, and many more.
Bring the family out to help restore this beautiful location after heavy use during the summer season.
