Moss : Winter’s Green Carpet

A New Jersey forest experience
Few plants stay green all Winter but this is the season that mosses are at their best. We will take a 1.5 mile hike to some moss colonies that are thriving and take a closer look at some that are common in NJ. Bring a magnifying lense, if you have one.
Come meet out front of the Forest Resource Education Center, 495 Don Connor Boulevard, Jackson, NJ.
