Manatee Appreciation Day Crafts! (Kids of All Ages)
March 26th is Manatee Appreciation Day. Let’s celebrate these gentle “sea cows” — who are distant relatives of elephants! — with fun crafts.
In this kit, you will receive:
- Foam sleeping manatee magnet craft
- DIY manatee bookmarks to color and cut
- Build-a-manatee paper craft
- DIY paper manatee crown to color and wear
- Manatee boop! card
- Vinyl sticker
- Coloring pages, fact sheet, letter M activity, and more!
Crafts can be picked up on THURSDAY, March 27th from 2 PM to 6 PM. Curbside is available.
If you need to pick up at a different time, PLEASE notify us BEFORE the pickup date so we may make arrangements with you. Unclaimed kits will NOT be held without prior arrangements.
2025 CRAFT POLICY:
Unclaimed crafts MAY be made available to the public after the pickup date. When this happens, those unclaimed crafts will be released on Friday mornings at 9:30 am when the library opens. The library reserves the right to limit the availability of unclaimed crafts.
