Maker’s Day Tower Challenge at Dorothy Henry Library

Join Miss Savannah at the Dorothy Henry Library for a tower challenge! Participants will be given various items and tasked to build a tower with two goals and a time limit of fifteen minutes: make the tower as tall as you can and use as many items as you can to build it! Points are awarded for height and number of items used with bonus points for teams who use every item in their kit. The tower must be free standing and remain standing long enough to be measured and items counted. Participants can only use items in their kit. Use of any items not in the kit, such as tape or glue, will immediately disqualify a team. Teams will sign up for a slot for their attempt, which will be measured, counted and photographed with the winner announced on social media that afternoon.
Space is limited to six teams of two. Sign up for a single time slot as a team.
