The art of writing letters is well and alive! In this winter break workshop, youth ages 9 – 15 will explore the history of letter writing and develop their writing skills in this literacy-based, traditional letter-writing experience. They will have the opportunity to examine real letters from the Coe family’s children, who lived on the estate, and experiment with different letter writing instruments throughout the centuries, such as quills and typewriters. They’ll learn how to write their own letters by hand, decorate and fill out an envelope!
This is a drop-off program. Guardians are encouraged to stay on-site during the duration of the program and explore the beautiful grounds!
