The first woman from Massachusetts to earn a college degree, Lucy Stone was an ardent supporter of human rights.
Her impassioned speeches motivated prominent figures such as Susan B. Anthony and countless other women across the country to push boundaries and change the course of our society forever.
Step back in time and onto the forefront of the women’s suffrage movement in this unique performance in honor of Women’s History Month.
Appropriate for all ages. Max: 60 people.

Since 2010, History At PlayTM, LLC, has been chronicling the lives of influential and often forgotten women. Founded by Artistic Director Judith Kalaora, H.A.P. is woman-owned and operated, with a commitment to employ artists from the region. Kalaora is a professional educator, writer and living historian. She graduated from Syracuse University and completed the Globe Education Program at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre of London, England.
