FreeThe Historical Fiction Book Club will meet in person at Main Library and via Zoom the 4th Monday of most months at 6:00 p.m.
The title for March is this year’s winner of the America Library Association’s Best In Genre (Historic Fiction) for Adult Readers – Lady Tan’s Circle of Women by Lisa See.
Tan Yunxian spends much of her youth in fifteenth-century China studying women’s illnesses under the tutelage of her grandmother. As an adult, however, Yunxian must fight to balance a life of propriety with her own aspirations from within the confines of an arranged marriage.
