Backyard Bird Buffet

Winter can be a tough time for birds to find food. Help them out by making a birdfeeder and learning how to safely accommodate our feathered friends in our own backyards with educator, Kim Fendrich, and Anne Swaim of the Saw Mill River Audubon Society.
Discover the type of birds that would visit this sort of feeder through an interactive bird photo matching game. We’ll also observe activity at the birdfeeder in the courtyard, binoculars will be provided.
Appropriate for all ages!
This program is wheelchair-friendly. We will be on relatively level terrain on either pavement or grass. Please click “Contact” below or call the office for more information (914) 631-1470.
The program will take place outdoors at the picnic tables across from the equestrian parking lot. Please dress accordingly and wear warm layers.
In case of bad weather, the event may be canceled or postponed; you will be notified via email by noon day of.
