Autumn Leaves and Keystone Trees

October 3 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Close-up of blue berries on a juniper shrub with green, needle-like foliage.

(adults)

In the transitional season of Autumn, our native trees become awash in color and develop winter buds to prepare for the next growing season. Our guide will teach the identification of the keystone tree and shrub species using their leaves, buds, bark, and fruit. We will in addition explore how these important woody plants are the foundation of our local ecosystem and support the web of life. No experience necessary.

The cost is per person. Registration is required, so be sure to register early as space is limited.

Member Price: $10 | Non-Member Price: $25
