Arbor Day Celebration

All around the world, people celebrate Arbor Day by planting trees, visiting local parks, and enjoying other tree-related festivities. What better way to commemorate the day than with a visit to Bayard Cutting Arboretum? Arbor Day marks the launch of our Education Program and we invite you to join us for this morning of activities. Free of charge and family-friendly.

This event will be located outside of the Upper Carriage House; follow signs for ‘event today’ through the Four Season Garden. The location has been changed from the CSA Farm.

Activities:

● Meet and Greet: K.T Williamson BCA Education Coordinator

○ Be the first to learn about our upcoming Educational Programs.

● Bring Home a Sapling: Donated by Bartlett Tree Experts

○ Choose between Scrub White Oak, Hackberry, or Red Maple.

● Name Forest: Presented by Carol Isles

○ Crack a secret code and take home your name written with trees!
