Wildflower Walk

Join botanist, Devon Cummings, for a leisurely walk and learn about the identification of summer wildflowers.
Contribute as a citizen scientist to increase our knowledge of the ecology of the Preserve by logging your observations in the iNaturalist app.
Meet in the Visitor Center courtyard.
Dress for a light hike with sun protection and bring water. Bring a camera or cell phone to take pictures and add the iNaturalist app to your phone before attending.

If there is heavy rain, the walk will be canceled; you will be notified by 5 pm the day before.
This program is wheelchair-friendly. The trail around the lake is 16’ wide, relatively level, and made of hard-packed gravel. The route will be about 1.25 miles round trip at most.
