Tree Identification Walk

Join conservation steward, Devyani Mishra, for a leisurely stroll to learn about trees and how to identify them. The hike will be short with frequent stops for discussion.
Meet in the Visitor Center courtyard.
Leashed dogs are welcome.
Please wear sun protection, bring water to drink, and wear comfortable closed-toed shoes. Long pants tucked into your socks are recommended to prevent exposure to ticks and poison ivy.
This program is wheelchair-friendly. The trail around the lake is 16’ wide, relatively level, and made of hard-packed gravel. The route will be about 1.25 miles round trip at most.

In case of bad weather, the program may be canceled or postponed; you will be notified by 5 pm the day prior.

Parking: $6 per vehicle. NYS Residents over 62 park for free on weekdays.
