Herbalism Workshop: Summer

Learn how to care for yourself confidently in the wild!
Join Herbalist, Clare Pierson, for an exploration of the medicinal properties of herbs as we approach the summer months and begin to think about sunburn, poison ivy, etc.
We’ll embark on a weed walk to observe herbs in their natural environment and then learn some basic medicine-making techniques.
Meet at the picnic tables across from the horse trailer lot at the main entrance.
Wear weather-appropriate clothing; we will proceed with the walk in light rain and may conduct the latter portion of the program in the art gallery if need be.
Bring a notebook to take notes. Sorry, no pets.
This program is wheelchair-friendly. We’ll be exploring areas close to the main parking lot along the sidewalk and driveway; the latter portion of the workshop will take place on level grass at the picnic tables or in the art gallery, which is ADA-compliant.
