Unfolding Seasons in the Preserve
March 9 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
This is the first in a series of hikes sensitizing you to the Preserve’s seasonal changes.
What you see, hear, smell, and feel in the Preserve changes throughout the year. This 6-mile hike will include views of the Hudson River, lakes, and fields, raising your awareness of the complex world adjacent to the trails.
Leashed dogs are welcome.
Be prepared to move at a steady pace; some hiking experience is recommended. Please bring water to drink, dress warmly in layers, and wear comfortable shoes.
Meet in the Visitor’s Center courtyard.
The hike will continue in light rain; however, in the event of heavy rain, the hike will be canceled. You will be notified by 5 pm the day prior.
Max: 20 people.
Parking: $6 per vehicle.
