Summer reading support for children of all abilities, ages 2-17!
Join Miss Derenda or a teen volunteer virtually for Book Club Buddies, where in a small group setting, we will read an easy reader book (books provided) together each week. Recommended for children ages 5-12. Listen or take turns reading, it’s your choice! At the end of each session, readers will get to choose a small prize from the treasure chest. (Prizes can be collected once Louise Childs reopens!) The book we will be reading is Frog and Toad Are Friends by Arnold Lobel. The Book Buddies Program runs August 11th-September 6th, with in-person sessions at each Sussex County Library location and online options as well. Search “Book Buddies” in the calendar for a complete list.
Space is limited; registration is required. This is a virtual program! A meeting link will be sent to the email provided during registration the morning of the program.
