DESCRIPTION:Join us on a walk along the Fire Island Inlet!\n\n\nJoin us on a walk to the inlet to look for all the unique\, inshore species that call the Fire Island Inlet and Great South Bay home! We will make a stop to do some seining to a get a closer look at the marine species that call the bay home this time of year. Be prepared to get wet! Bring drinking water and water shoes! \nMeet in Field 2 near the concession building! We will make our way over to the far western back corner of the parking lot. Please arrive earlier than the program to beat the beach traffic! \n$4 per child upon arrival. $10 Parking fee is in effect. Reservations are required for all programs. Space is limited. If you are unable to keep your reservation\, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Meet in the Field 2 parking lot near the Golf Course walkway on the west side of the lot.  \nBE AWARE: There are no restrooms open at Field 2! Restrooms in Field 5 will be open or at Captree State Park so please use the restrooms before the hike.  \nIf this event fills up there is another event page for this very same hike! \nFamily programs are recommended for children 6 and up!
