Participants will learn about the English traditions of growing Camellias under glass\, the design elements and history of the planthouse structure\, as well as learn about the modern hardy camellias located in the neighboring landscape and how to grow Camellias in their own garden! \n  \nReservations are based on availability and are limited capacity. Visit spaces where sailors ate\, slept and worked\, and celebrate the important contributions of Intrepid’s crew. \nCheck-in begins at 10:30am. Please arrive before 11:00am in order to participate in the full program. \nLooking for a program for older visitors? This program will be offered again from 2:00 to 4:00pm for teens and adults with developmental disabilities and their families. Families take a guided\, interactive tour of the Museum and can participate in activities that everyone can enjoy. \nAdventures Aboard\nFind out why Intrepid was a “city at sea” and learn about the sailors’ many different jobs aboard the ship! Visit spaces where sailors ate\, slept and worked\, and celebrate the important contributions of Intrepid’s crew. \nCheck-in begins at 1:30pm. Please arrive before 2:00pm in order to participate in the full program. \nLooking for a program for younger visitors? This program will be offered from 11:00am to 1:00pm for children under 17 with developmental disabilities and their families.
