This joyful class will help you clear your mind\, relax\, and have fun with some playful loveable goats. Goats are calm\, even-tempered\, social animals – the perfect companions for yoga. Studies have shown that yoga\, spending time in nature\, and interacting with friendly animals can help reduce blood pressure\, stress\, and anxiety. What better way to start the weekend! \nThe class will meet in the Azalea Garden. Please dress comfortably\, bring your own yoga mat and water bottle\, and arrive a few minutes early to check-in and get settled. \nSome answers to questions you might have: \n\nWhile you are doing yoga\, the goats may snuggle beside you\, nibble on your hair\, climb on your back\, make cute sounds\, and poop near you.\nGoats make small pellets that are not terribly messy and can be shaken off your mat.  Cleaning wipes and hand sanitizer will be available.\nThe goats and yoga instructors are from Totes Goats Farm in Warwick\, NY who pride themselves on the meticulous love and care they provide to their animals who have forever homes with them.\n\nCANCELLATIONS:  If the class is cancelled due to inclement weather\, the class will be rescheduled for a future date or a refund will be given.  If you need to cancel your reservation\, you will receive a refund less a 20% administrative fee as long as your spot can be filled by another registrant. \nMember Price: $40 | Non-Member Price: $50

DESCRIPTION:Museum staff and other guest readers share stories\, rhymes and sing-alongs with children ages 2 to 5 years and their caregivers every Friday at 10:00 am. A $5 suggested donation is appreciated. \nLaunched in 2005 by librarian and former Museum Trustee Penny Metsch\, the program is open to all on a first-come\, first-served basis\, and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. \nDue to weather or staffing shortages\, the program may be canceled without advance notice. DESCRIPTION:Reeves-Reed Arboretum is pleased to present Féminin Pluriel\, a solo exhibition by Québec-based artist Pascale Bouchard. This exhibition highlights Bouchard’s distinctive encaustic practice\, in which pigmented beeswax and heat are used to create richly textured works of art. Rooted in themes of transformation\, memory\, and the symbolic power of the feminine\, her work draws deeply from floral imagery and organic forms\, evoking both the fragility and resilience of the natural world. \nA curated selection of artist-designed objects and garments inspired by the Féminin Pluriel series will be available for purchase\, and a live demonstration of Bouchard’s encaustic technique will be scheduled this fall at the Arboretum. \nThe exhibition will be on view from June 2 through October 31 in the Wisner House. \nGallery hours are Tuesday through Sunday\, 10 am – 4 pm unless closed for a private event.
