DESCRIPTION:Reeves-Reed Arboretum is pleased to present Féminin Pluriel\, a solo exhibition by Québec-based artist Pascale Bouchard. This exhibition highlights Bouchard’s distinctive encaustic practice\, in which pigmented beeswax and heat are used to create richly textured works of art. Rooted in themes of transformation\, memory\, and the symbolic power of the feminine\, her work draws deeply from floral imagery and organic forms\, evoking both the fragility and resilience of the natural world. \nA curated selection of artist-designed objects and garments inspired by the Féminin Pluriel series will be available for purchase\, and a live demonstration of Bouchard’s encaustic technique will be scheduled this fall at the Arboretum. \nThe exhibition will be on view from June 2 through October 31 in the Wisner House. \nGallery hours are Tuesday through Sunday\, 10 am – 4 pm unless closed for a private event. Learn about moths at this month’s Tales on the Trails.  \nDiscover the wonders of the outdoor world with your little one.  This program begins in the gardens of Van Vleck with a story\, then continues with a walk and concludes with a simple craft or activity.  All programs focus on the theme listed.  A parent or caregiver must accompany each child.  Programs will be held outdoors\, weather permitting. \nFee: $10/class per child for Members / $15/class per child for General Public \nRegistration required by 1 day prior to each class
