DESCRIPTION:First Fridays: Through the Stained-Glass\nFriday\, March 7\, 2025\nOne Session: 10 – 11am\n$20 per person\nBeginning at the Main House\, check in begins 15 minutes prior.  \n  \nRegister Now \n  \nExplore the extensive collection of medieval and renaissance stained glass at Planting Fields! \n During this walk and workshop for adults\, participants will discover the travels and stories of a few of the forty—plus stained-glass panes that illuminate the historic house-museum\, the Main House. Guests will be guided by Emily Leger\, Planting Fields Foundation’s Collections and Exhibitions Manager\, and will not only dive into the Corpus Vitrearum\, an International scholarly compilation of historic glass windows\, but also make their very own faux stained-glass to bring home and enjoy!  \n  \nMore about First Fridays\nThis monthly series dives into the various themes that make up Planting Fields\, with exclusive behind-the-scenes walking tours and workshops led by Planting Fields Foundation and New York State Parks staff\, who are experts in their respective fields. From wellness and Olmsted landscape features to the life-stories of Coe family members and their unchallenged spectacular horticultural\, historic and personal collections\, participants of this series will see this site with a new lens. Each month a new theme is explored with at least one staff expert serving as your guide. This series will take place on the first Friday of each month.\n \n  \nFor any additional information and questions\, please contact Kayla Cheshire\, Communications and Marketing Manager at kcheshire@plantingfields.org \n  \nAll ticket sales final. Outside tours will continue in the case of light rain.
