DESCRIPTION:Kayak Tour on the Passaic River \n(All ages\, 15 & under must be accompanied by an adult\, children ages 8-12 years must share a tandem kayak with an adult) \nBordering Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge\, this section of the Passaic River boasts beautiful scenery and plenty of wildlife. You’ll feel at one with nature as the river’s twists and turns carry you deeper into the refuge’s soul. \nLed by an ACA (American Canoe Association) certified kayak instructor from Kayak East\, this tour is rated “Easy” meaning no experience is necessary.  Great for families and paddlers of any skill level.  Photographers\, bird-watchers and anyone who wants to get outside and enjoy nature will love it! \nPlan to meet at the Passaic River in Bernards Township at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour for boat fit. Directions and additional information will be provided upon registration. Paddlers ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. SUMMARY:Great American Backyard Campout
DESCRIPTION:MEMBERS ONLY! \nSummer is a beautiful time of year to camp out! So why not join us for our members-only campout on Friday\, June 26? Pitch your tent\, grab your sleeping bag\, and settle in for a special evening on the grounds of the Arboretum. Enjoy live entertainment\, guided night hikes\, and\, of course\, s’mores! This event will be held rain or shine. \nAdvance registration is required. Registration will begin on Thursday\, June 4 at 9:00 AM. Participants must be Family-level members or above. Members may register immediate family members only. \nMembership must be current on the date of the event to receive membership benefits.
