DESCRIPTION:(ages 5-10 and ages 3-5 with a parent or guardian) \nCome celebrate the Year of the Horse with crafts\, music\, and stories! We’ll explore Lunar New Year traditions and learn about the fascinating creatures and plants that are central to the festivities. Children ages 5–10 may be dropped off or attend with a parent/guardian\, while children ages 3–5 should attend with a parent/guardian. \nThe cost is per child. Registration is required\, so be sure to register early as space is limited. \nMember registration begins on Friday\, January 2\, 2026\, at 9:00 AM. Non-member registration begins on Friday\, January 9\, 2026\, at 9:00 AM. \nMember Price: $20 | Non-Member Price: $30 \nNotice: Due to ongoing construction for the Path for All project\, Arboretum parking will be unavailable Monday through Friday\, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please use street parking during these hours. Handicap parking will remain available.

DESCRIPTION:(families with children ages 5 and up) \nFebruary marks the beginning of maple sugaring season. Join us as we tap the Arboretum’s maple trees in preparation for the season’s sap flow. Families will learn the hows and whys of tapping trees and gain hands-on experience by helping with the process. \nThe cost is per child. DESCRIPTION:Cancelled due to parking and safety concerns.\nIt’s going to be a sweet day! The whole family will enjoy spending the day outdoors\, learning the steps involved in turning tree sap into delicious maple syrup\, hiking our trails\, and participating in our Maple Sugaring Challenge! Enjoy a relaxed winter afternoon\, sipping hot cocoa\, shopping our vendors\, and more. \nWe will have staggered entry times at 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM. Please be sure to sign up for the correct time slot\, as changes will be based on availability. Please do not arrive before the time you are registered for. This event will be held rain or shine\, with no refunds. \nPlease note that registration for Family-level members is limited to immediate family only. Individual and Senior-level members are entitled to one entry\, and Dual-level members are entitled to two entries.
