DESCRIPTION:Members-Only Family Campout! \nAdvance registration is required and is now open. \nAutumn is a beautiful time of year at the Arboretum\, and we invite you to join us for our members-only family campout on Friday\, September 25. \nPitch your tent and settle in for a special overnight experience on the beautiful grounds of Reeves-Reed Arboretum. Enjoy live entertainment\, gather around for classic s’mores\, and bring a blanket or chair so you can relax and take in the evening’s festivities. We’ll end the night with a guided nighttime hike through the woodlands\, followed by an overnight campout under the stars on the beautiful grounds. \nOpen to Family-level members and above. Members may register only their immediate family members. Membership must be current on the date of the event to receive member pricing. \nThis event will be held rain or shine. Reeves-Reed Arboretum is participating on Saturday\, October 17 from 10 am – 4 pm.  We will be offering the following activities that will help you learn about the history of this historic estate now known as Reeves-Reed Arboretum: \n\nVisit our history exhibit to view artifacts and photographs of the Reeves\, Reed\, and Wisner families.\nTake a free Horticulture & History Tour at 10:30 am or 1:30 pm (meet at the Visitors Center).\nGrab a Map & Guide from our Visitors Center to aide your self-guided tour throughout the grounds\, trails and gardens. Our new ADA accessible pathway (‘A Path for All’) is now open\, linking all garden areas.\nStop by Beacon Signal Fire #10\, a replica of the original Revolutionary War beacon on “the hill”.\nWalk along the Wildflower Trail and stop to read our interpretive signage highlighting the property’s history. \nVisit the current art exhibit in historic Wisner House.
