What better way to celebrate this auspicious day than with a Forest Bathing walk at the Arboretum as we renew our connection to the natural world. Limited availability\, so book your place soon at this very special event. \nA few tips from Rich to make your walk more comfortable: \n\nThe walk will last for about 2.5 hours. We will be moving slowly and using our senses to connect with nature so this will not be an athletic walk.\nPlease dress in layers so you can be comfortable with temperature changes.\nIf you wish\, you can bring sunscreen\, bug spray\, and/or water.\nRich will provide small mats to use when sitting.\nThe walk will be postponed in the event of inclement weather.\n\nRich Collins is a Certified Guide for the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs (ANFT)\, based in Morristown & Barnegat Light\, New Jersey.  His company\, Friendly Territory\, specializes in Nature & Forest Therapy walks and retreats. DESCRIPTION:(adults) \nWelcome Spring into your home with a cheerful\, fragrant bouquet! We’ll work with the season’s best blooms\, including lilacs\, hyacinths\, tulips\, fritillaries\, clematis\, blossoming branches\, and fresh greens to create a bright and joyful arrangement. \nIn this workshop\, you will learn tips about seasonal blooms and various techniques for arranging them. All experience levels are welcome. Classes run approximately 2 hours. Prices include all florals and vases. Due to the festival’s popularity\, we cannot accept walk-ins. \nTicket sales and member registration will close Saturday\, April 12 at 11:59 pm. \nPlease note: Members attend all festivals for free\, including summer concerts. Consider becoming a member today! \nDaffodil Day Festival is a decades-old tradition in Summit\, when visitors to the Arboretum have an opportunity to enjoy one of the largest daffodil collections in New Jersey – over 50\,000 bulbs in bloom in the Arboretum’s glacially carved Daffodil Bowl! \nThe day’s activities also include spring themed games and crafts\, a story trail\, music\, food\, market vendors\, our current art exhibit\, and of course\, the Green Goats will be here. \nStaggered entry times will be at 11:00 am\, 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm. Please be sure to sign up for the time slot you prefer\, as changing will be based on availability.  This is event is rain or shine. No refunds. \nMember registration begins Tuesday\, March 4 at 9:00 am. Non-member registration begins Tuesday\, March 18 at 9:00 am. \nMember and Children Under 3 Price: FREE | Non-Member Price: $15 \nPlease note that registration for Family level members is limited to immediate family only.
