SUMMARY:Féminin Pluriel\, a solo exhibition by artist Pascale Bouchard
DESCRIPTION:Reeves-Reed Arboretum is pleased to present Féminin Pluriel\, a solo exhibition by Québec-based artist Pascale Bouchard. This exhibition highlights Bouchard’s distinctive encaustic practice\, in which pigmented beeswax and heat are used to create richly textured works of art. Rooted in themes of transformation\, memory\, and the symbolic power of the feminine\, her work draws deeply from floral imagery and organic forms\, evoking both the fragility and resilience of the natural world. \nA curated selection of artist-designed objects and garments inspired by the Féminin Pluriel series will be available for purchase\, and a live demonstration of Bouchard’s encaustic technique will be scheduled this fall at the Arboretum. \nThe exhibition will be on view from June 2 through October 31 in the Wisner House. \nGallery hours are Tuesday through Sunday\, 10 am – 4 pm unless closed for a private event. Please check here for updated hours.  \nAll works in this exhibition will be for sale\, and the artist will donate 30% of all sales to the Arboretum.

DESCRIPTION:Museum staff and other guest readers share stories\, rhymes and sing-alongs with children ages 2 to 5 years and their caregivers every Friday at 10:00 am. A $5 suggested donation is appreciated. \nLaunched in 2005 by librarian and former Museum Trustee Penny Metsch\, the program is open to all on a first-come\, first-served basis\, and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. \nDue to weather or staffing shortages\, the program may be canceled without advance notice. No experience is necessary. \nGround Force Sessions: \n\n\nFridays\, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM \n\n\nWhat to Bring & Wear: \n\n\nLong pants\, long socks\, and sturdy closed-toe shoes \n\n\nInsect repellent\, sunscreen\, and a refillable water bottle \n\n\nRain gear if light rain is expected—we work in drizzle! \n\n\nRegistration is required to receive updates in case of cancellations or schedule changes. Please register at least 24 hours before each session. \nWe will supply gloves as well as all other tools and materials. For your safety\, all tools and gloves are washed and sanitized.
