DESCRIPTION:(adults and teens 13 yrs+) \nMigration season is in full swing\, and colorful migrants are flitting through the Arboretum’s forest and gardens\, singing to attract mates.  Many of them are small and speedy\, so it helps to go out with a seasoned guide like ours who can teach you the tricks to identifying birds by sight and sound\, as well as fun facts about their lives.  All skill levels are welcome\, from beginner to expert.  Please bring binoculars. \nThe cost is per person. Registration is required\, so be sure to register early as space is limited. \nMember Price: $25 | Non-Member Price: $35 \nNotice: Due to ongoing construction for the Path for All project\, Arboretum parking will be unavailable Monday through Friday\, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please use street parking during these hours. Handicap parking will remain available.

DESCRIPTION:(age 14+\, age 12-13 with adult) \nJoin Our Horticulture Team! \nHelp maintain and enhance the beauty of our gardens and grounds all year long—spring\, summer\, fall\, and even winter! Volunteer indoors or outdoors alongside our horticulturists to support the care and upkeep of our landscape. Tasks vary by session and may include weeding\, mulching\, watering\, and more. \nGround Force Sessions: \n\n\nThursdays \n\n\n10:00 AM – 12:00 PM \n\n\n\n\nSaturdays \n\n\nMarch – 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM \n\nApril & May  – 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM\n\n\n\nWhat to Bring & Wear: \n\n\nLong pants\, long socks\, and sturdy closed-toe shoes \n\n\nInsect repellent\, sunscreen\, and a refillable water bottle \n\n\nRain gear if light rain is expected—we work in drizzle! \n\n\nRegistration is required to receive updates in case of cancellations or schedule changes. Please register at least 24 hours before each session. \nWe will supply gloves as well as all other tools and materials. For your safety\, all tools and gloves are washed and sanitized. Please meet at the barn in our parking lot. If the session is cancelled due to inclement weather or any other reason\, we will contact you. First-time volunteers must bring a completed Volunteer Waiver form to their first volunteer session. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister here.

DESCRIPTION:(all ages) \n\n\nEnjoy a Free Guided Tour of the Arboretum\n\n\n\n\nFree guided tours of the Arboretum are offered most Saturdays at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm\, from April 18 through October 17. Tours begin at the Visitors Center. No reservations are required and tours are on a first-come\, first-served basis for individuals who would like to learn more about the current season’s highlights. Limit of 7 people per tour. Anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. No groups. Tours last approximately 30-45 minutes. \n\n\n\n\nSaturday Garden Tours may be suspended on days with excessive heat. We apologize for any inconvenience.
