Your choice of tea will be brewed to perfection. Once everyone is settled in\, the tiers will arrive with freshly baked scones\, jam\, homemade clotted cream\, scrumptious sandwiches\, and a 3-tiered dessert tray. \nIn the last part of the service\, you’ll be offered a complimentary glass of Prosecco\, a Mimosa\, or sparkling lemonade. We hope you will join us! \nThis event is for adults and children ages 13+. Seatings are 90 minutes\, and registration is required. DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a 5-6-mile Hike with Mike through the preserve!\n\n\nA 3-hour 5-6 mile hike starting a 9:00 at the Preserve offfice courtyard. It will take us to the Western side fo the Preserve where we’ll follow the Pocantico River to our triple arch bridge; then on to the Big Tree trail containing most of the Preserve’s oldest trees. We’ll then return to our starting point. Weather permitting we may include the Thirteen Bridges Trail.  \nThe hike will leave promptly at 9:00 from the Visitor Center courtyard. \nMake sure you have water with you \nMax: 20 people. Volunteer indoors or outdoors alongside our horticulturists to support the care and upkeep of our landscape. Tasks vary by session and may include weeding\, mulching\, watering\, and more. \nGround Force Sessions: \nThursdays & Saturdays\, 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM \nWhat to Bring & Wear: \n\n\nLong pants\, long socks\, and sturdy closed-toe shoes \n\n\nInsect repellent\, sunscreen\, and a refillable water bottle \n\n\nRain gear if light rain is expected—we work in drizzle! \n\n\nRegistration is required to receive updates in case of cancellations or schedule changes. Please register at least 24 hours before each session. \nWe will supply gloves as well as all other tools and materials. For your safety\, all tools and gloves are washed and sanitized. Please meet at the barn in our parking lot. If the session is cancelled due to inclement weather or any other reason\, we will contact you. Please arrive no later than 6:30 pm; all guests must exit the Preserve by 7 pm. \nAccess to Brothers Path around Swan Lake ONLY; the Preserve is otherwise closed at night. \nIn case of inclement weather\, the event may be postponed or canceled; you will receive announcements via email.
